WI vs PAK – West Indies beat Pakistan by 1 Wicket to win 1st test: West Indies lost three early wickets including that of captain Kraigg Brathwaite, but Jermaine Blackwood and Roston Chase scripted a fight back. The former top-scored with a well compiled 55, but departed when his side needed 57 more runs with only four wickets in hand. Roach as the elder statesman resumed responsibility kept ticking the scoreboard and eventually sealed the tie with a wicket to spare. Afridi and Hasan Ali combined for seven wickets in the fourth innings, but it wasn’t enough as the hosts took the lead. Jayden Seales was awarded the man of the match after he managed a haul of eight wickets in the match.
