WI vs PAK 2nd Test: Dream11 Prediction, Fantasy Tips, Playing11, Captain/Vice-Captain Picks, Injury Updates, Live Streaming details for Windies vs Pakistan Test Series | WI vs PAK Match Preview: The host West Indies have started their ICC World Test Championship 2021-23 campaign in style, beating Pakistan by just one wicket to take a 1-0 series lead. The second and final Test of the series will begin on August 20, Friday at Sabina Park, Kingston, Jamaica.

The opening test of the series was evenly poised across the four days and ended in a nail-biting finish as Windies registered 1 wicket win on the back of an unbeaten 17 runs partnership between No.09 Kemar Roach and No.11 Jayden Seales.

Invited to bat first, Pakistan reached a modest total of 217 runs in the first innings, courtesy of Fawad Alam’s 56 and Faheem Ashraf’s 44, as Jayden Seales and Jason Holder ripped the visitors’ batting line up, picking up three wickets each. The Windies, too, had a similar story as the hosts managed a slender lead of 36 runs by posting 253 runs on the board with the help of K Brathwaite’ 97 and Jason Holder’s 58.

In the second innings, Pakistan was bowled out to an even lower score of 203 runs as Jayden Seales became the youngest Windies bowler to claim a Test five-wicket. Kemar Roach also chipped in with three wickets. In the final innings, the Windies needed 168 runs to seal the Test match but Shaheen Shah Afridi (4-50) and Hasan Ali (3-37) had a different plan as they reduced the host to 151/9. And, when the visitors were on the brink of a superb test win, Jayden Seales and Kemar Roach guided Windies to the now-famous 1 wicket win.

Another thrilling encounter is expected over the course of five days as Pakistan, who is ranked 5th in ICC Test Team Rankings, will be looking to bounce back against Windies who will be eyeing to seal the series with another win. Windies are ranked 8th in ICC Test Team Rankings.

The match will start at 08:30 PM IST and will live stream on the FanCode app.
