WI vs IND: Team India is set to take on West Indies in the first match of the new World Test Championship cycle. The encounter is set to be played at the Windsor Park, Dominica from July 12 onwards. To note, the visitors have played one Test match at the venue which ended in a draw and they will be eyeing their first win at the ground against the Carribean side.

The last time India played a Test match at the venue was almost 12 years back in 2011 under the captaincy of MS Dhoni. The clash ended in a draw as the visitors backed down from challenge of chasing down 180 runs in 32 overs on the final day, ending at 94 for 3. To note, Virat Kohli and current Indian head coach Rahul Dravid were a part of that team at that time.
Speaking about the venue, Dominica has hosted only five Test matches so far. The 2011 Test between India and West Indies was the first-ever Test at the venue. After that game, West Indies have hosted Australia twice and played a match each against Zimbabwe and Pakistan.
