The batter who was picked by SRH for a massive 2.6 crore in the IPL mini-auction, scored maiden IPL fifty in his debut innings. The opening pair stitched a partnership of 140 where Vivrant was the aggressor. The 23-year-old from Jammu & Kashmir had a decent domestic season as he took his side to the Vijay Hazare Trophy knockouts for the first time with his contributions. His notable innings was an unbeaten 154 runs from 124 deliveries as J&K defeated Uttarakhand in November last year.
The all-rounder played 9 T20 matches before the IPL outing and amassed 191 runs. He has picked up six wickets in three innings in the shortest format. 4/13 has been his best bowling figure in the T20s.
Talking about the match, Sunrisers Hyderabad are eyeing a big score after getting a brilliant start from their openers. Mayank Agarwal departed after scoring a brilliant 83 but in-form Heinrich Klaasen and skipper Aiden Markram are at the crease and will target a total of over 200.
Notably, Mumbai Indians need to win this game with a big margin to have a chance to qualify for the Playoffs.
