To note, Rana was bought by KKR at his base price of INR 20 lakhs during IPL 2022 Mega Auction. He made his IPL debut against Delhi Capitals in April 2022 in Wankhede Stadium, Mumbai. The right arm pacer bowls heavy lengths and does not much room to the batters.
However, the youngster could not end his spell on a decent note as he was taken for 21 runs in his final over as PBKS reached a big total of 179 runs in their allotted 20 overs. Shahrukh Khan played a brilliant cameo of 21 runs in just 8 balls. Harpreet Brar also chipped in with 17 off 9 balls.
For KKR, Varun Chakravarthy scalped three wickets followed by Suyash Sharma and Nitish Rana with one each. The two-time champions are coming off from a win against SRH and they will like to continue their good run against the Kings as well.
