This weekend, Oleksandr Usyk will fight Daniel Dubois in his much-anticipated return to the boxing arena. On Saturday, August 26, 2023, Usyk vs. Dubois is scheduled to take place at the Stadion Wroclaw in Poland.

On August 26 at the Tarczynski Arena in Wroclaw, Poland, Oleksandr Usyk will defend his united heavyweight title against Daniel Dubois. ESPN+ in the United States and TNT Sports Box Office in the United Kingdom will both air the 12-round fight as well as the undercard events. 

The Ukrainian fighter, who will have the boisterous support of the audience in Poland on his side, faces the British fighter in his maiden world title match at the early age of 25 in an attempt to pull off a major shock.

Fight In Undercard of Oleksandr Usyk vs. Daniel Dubois

The WBA heavyweight championship fight on Saturday will also be for Usyk’s IBF and WBO championships. The 36-year-old hasn’t fought since this time last year, when he easily defeated Anthony Joshua in their rematch thanks to a split decision that was really favourable to the Brit.

Because Tyson Fury’s massive unification clash has not materialised as a result of negotiations, Usyk must deal with Dubois’ danger to advance his march towards complete heavyweight dominance.

Dubois (19-1) is prepared to upset the heavyweight category and cause mayhem. The 25-year-old British fighter has 18 knockout victories and a four-fight winning run. Promoter Frank Warren is confident that his strength will decide this battle.

On a fight card stacked with eastern European talent, Britain’s Commonwealth middleweight champion Hamzah Sheeraz also squares up against Ukraine’s Dmytro Mytrofanov. Aadam Hamed, the son of Prince Naseem Hamed, makes his professional debut against an unnamed opponent.
