Call of Duty first release date
The first variant of the title, Call of Duty released on 29 October 2003. Activision published it while Infinity Wards developed the game. The variant arrived on PC but was eventually available on PlayStation 3, Xbox 360, and the macOS.

The second variant named Call of Duty 2 was first released on 25 October 2005. It has sold close to 6 million copies globally.
A year later, Call of Duty 3 marked its debut in the gaming scenes. Treyarch developed the variant, and it was published back on 7 November 2007. World War scenes were featured in these variants.
One of the popular variants, Call of Duty 4: Modern Warfare had sold more than 16 million copies. It was released on November 6, 2007. One of the major changes in this title was the introduction of Modern Day Combat.
