When McGregor used his trademark trash-talking to refer to Ali as a “terrorist” and an FBI agent who was “snitching,” he unintentionally started a huge can of worms. At the time, McGregor made a lot of revelations regarding Ali’s function as an informant and a MOA member. Thus, Ali’s past, which had shocked spectators and athletes, continues to be one of the grimmest revelations in UFC history.
Ali Abdelaziz immigrated to America illegally from Egypt in 1996. Ali was therefore detained by law enforcement in December 2001 as a result of his unauthorised arrival and accusations of identity fraud and forgery. According to reports, it was at this point that Ali was approached by law enforcement about joining Muslims of the Americas (MOA), a terrorist group with bases in Pakistan and the United States.

He allegedly abandoned his son Noah and eventually severed contact with both sides, divorcing his wife Fatima. When McGregor famously yelled “How’s Noah?” during a news conference, he also brought up this point.
