Khabib Nurmagomedov Lost Half A Million

The infamous UFC 229 brawl between Khabib Nurmagomedov and Conor McGregor sent shockwaves through the mixed martial arts community. Following Nurmagomedov’s victory over McGregor on October 6, 2023, an altercation erupted outside the cage involving members of both fighters’ teams.

In addition to the suspension, Khabib Nurmagomedov was ordered to pay a substantial fine of $500,000. This penalty was deducted from the $1 million of his purse that was previously withheld.
