Team India registered an emphatic 100-run win in IND vs ENG Cricket World Cup match at Ekana Stadium in Lucknow on Sunday. It was a sweet victory for Team India who secured a victory while defending a low total under lights. While there were couple of performances that caught the eye, the incident that stole the limelight happened between Rohit Sharma and Virat Kohli.
The wholesome moment happened in the 24th over when Mohammed Shami bowled a perfect delivery to get Moeen Ali edged behind. The wicket was crucial as Moeen and Liam Livingstone were building a crucial partnership. The wicket brought a relief for skipper Rohit and Virat who were seen hugging in joy.

The video also puts an end to the speculations of rift between the senior players which emerged after a video of them arguing during IND vs NZ went viral.

The two senior players were seen having an animated chat. In the video, Kohli was suggesting a field change to captain Rohit but latter declined to do it.
Talking about IND vs ENG game, India secured their 6th win a row after defeating England by 100 runs in a low-scoring encounter. Mohammed Shami (4/22) shone with the ball as India successfully defended 229 against the defending champions. Earlier, Rohit Sharma’s 87 and Suryakumar Yadav’s 49 pushed India to a fighting total after England skipper Jos Buttler won the toss and opted to bowl.
With 6 wins in 6 games, Team India are on top of the points table and have almost secured the semi-final spot in World Cup 2023. Meanwhile, England’s title defence has come to an end with their 5th defeat in 6 games.
