New Zealand's explosive opener Martin Guptill second on the list. The Kiwi batter smashed 237 runs in 163 balls against West Indies in 2015.
Former Indian opener Virender Sehwag smashed 219 runs in 149 balls with 25 Fours and 7 sixes against West Indies in 2011.
The 'Universe Boss' played a 215-run knock against Zimbabwe in 2015. Chris Gayle's innings included 16 sixes.
Pakistan opener Fakhar Zaman slammed his first double century in ODIs against Zimbabwe in 2018. Zaman scored an unbeaten 210 runs in 156 balls.
Sri Lanka opener Pathum Nissanka became the first Sri Lankan player to hit a double century in ODIs. He scored 210 against Afghanistan in 2024.
Wicketkeeper-batter Ishan Kishan is also among the few players in ODIs who have scored double century. Kishan scored 210 against Bangladesh in 2022.
Indian skipper Rohit Sharma's second double ton came against Australia in 2013 where he smashed 209 runs in 158 balls with 12 fours and 16 sixes.
Rohit Sharma smashed his third ODI double ton in 2017 to script history. He smashed unbeaten 208 runs in 153 balls with 13 fours and 12 sixes against Sri Lanka.
Young Indian opener Shubman Gill joined the elite list in 2023 with his double century against New Zealand. Gill hit 19 fours and 9 sixes in his 208-run knock.
