Over the course of her career, Sindhu has played under different coaches. With one more addition to the list, Insidesport takes a look at all of them.
Sindhu's parents signed her up at the Mahboob Ali Badminton Academy in Secunderabad, after she showed interest in the sport.
Later, the two-time Olympic medalist started training with Dronacharya awardee SM Arif at the Lal Bahadur Shastri Stadium.
After Arif, Sindhu started her most successful stints under a coach. She trained with Pullela Gopichand for a number of years, and won Rio Olympics silver.
Sindhu then roped in South Korean Kim Ji Hyun, who guided her to a BWF World Championships gold in 2019. Post that, Kim had to leave.
After that, came the arrival of Park Tae Sang, who took Sindhu to a bronze medal at the Tokyo Olympics, and had a long stint with the Indian.
Late in 2023, Sindhu announced former All England champion Muhammad Hafiz Hashim as her new coach, but the partnership didn't seem to work.
Then in Jan 2024, Sindhu started training with Indonesian Agus Dwi Santoso. Apart from that, she also brought in Prakash Padukone as her mentor.
