The legendary Vijay Hazare held the record for being oldest Indian captain to score a Test century for a long times. He scored a hundred at 36 years 278 days vs England in 1951.

Vijay Hazare also held the second spot on the list after hitting a Test hundred against England at 36 years, 236 days. 

Mohammad Azharuddin

Mohammad Azharuddin skipper scored a counter-attacking century against New Zealand in the second Test in 1998. The skipper slammed Test ton at the age of 35 years, 321 days.

Rohit Sharma

Rohit Sharma scored a brilliant century on a tricky surface in the first Test against Australia in February 2023. He slammed the ton in 171 deliveries at the age of 35 years, 285 days.

Mohammad Azharuddin

Mohammad Azharuddin played a stunning unbeaten knock of 163 against Australia in 1998 as he led Team India to a memorable win. He was 35 years, 38 days old when he hit the ton.
