Shaun Pollock (2008)

The South African pacer had a short stint, leading the team in 4 matches and winning 3 out of them

Sachin Tendulkar (2008-11)

Sachin Tendulkar captained the team in 55 games, winning 32, bringing initial success to the team

Dwayne Bravo (2010)

CSK legend Bravo first played for MI during the initial seasons  and also  captained in 1 game, which he lost

Ricky Ponting (2013)

Towards his retirement, he joined Mumbai Indians and led the team in 6 games, winning 3 out of them

Rohit Sharma (2013-23)

Captained the team in 163 games, won 91. Built a successful era winnig 5 trophies

Keiron Pollard (2014-21)

Keiron Pollard led the team in 9 games , and as a captain, he won five matches with the team

. Suryakumar Yadav (2023)

Suryakumar Yadav  has only captained the team once , leading the team to victory in the contest

Hardik Pandya (2024-present )

Came back to MI from GT as captain, won only 4 matches out of 14 so far. He'll be leading the team in IPL  as well.
