Alvarez and Poirier have both left their mark on the UFC, and their battles against McGregor and Chandler have become some of the most talked-about fights in UFC history.

Eddie Alvarez vs McGregor and Chandler

Eddie Alvarez is a former Bellator Lightweight champion and a former UFC Lightweight champion. He is known for his aggressive style and powerful striking, which has earned him a reputation as one of the most dangerous fighters in the sport. Alvarez has faced both McGregor and Chandler, with mixed results.

Alvarez faced McGregor in the main event of UFC 205, which was held at Madison Square Garden in New York City.

McGregor was looking to become the first fighter in UFC history to hold two belts simultaneously, and he did just that by knocking out Alvarez in the second round. Despite being a former champion, Alvarez was no match for McGregor’s precision striking and relentless pressure.

Alvarez also faced Chandler twice during their time in Bellator, with each fighter winning one of the matches. Their first meeting was at Bellator 58, where Chandler defeated Alvarez by submission in the fourth round to become the Bellator Lightweight champion.

Their second meeting was at Bellator 106, where Alvarez won a hotly contested split decision victory over Chandler to become the new Bellator Lightweight champion.

Dustin Poirier vs McGregor and Chandler

Dustin Poirier, also known as “The Diamond,” is a former interim UFC Lightweight champion and one of the most exciting fighters in the sport today.

Poirier has faced McGregor three times throughout his career, with their trilogy being one of the most highly anticipated events in UFC history.

Poirier and McGregor first faced each other in 2014, with McGregor winning the match by TKO in the first round. Their second meeting was at UFC 257, where Poirier avenged his loss by defeating McGregor via TKO in the second round.

Their third and most recent meeting was at UFC 264, where Poirier won the match due to a doctor’s stoppage after McGregor suffered a fight-ending leg injury.

Poirier also faced Chandler at UFC 281, where he defeated him via submission with a rear naked choke. The match was a back-and-forth battle, with both fighters showing tremendous heart and skill.

In the end, it was Poirier’s grappling prowess that won him the match and secured his place as one of the top fighters in the UFC Lightweight division.

In conclusion, Eddie Alvarez and Dustin Poirier are two of the biggest legends in UFC history, with both fighters having faced Conor McGregor and Michael Chandler in their careers.

Their battles against these top-level competitors have produced some of the most memorable moments in UFC history, and their legacies will be remembered for years to come.
