WATCH: Virat Kohli and Rohit Sharma punish Shaheen Afridi with signature shots in IND vs PAK

Rohit Sharma and Virat Kohli were at their vintage best as they stunned Shaheen Afridi with their signature shots.

Team India have started in aggressive fashion in the chase of 192 in IND vs PAK at Narendra Modi Stadium, Ahmedabad on Saturday. Shubman Gill looked fluent earlier in the innings before falling on 16. However, Rohit Sharma and Virat Kohli kept the tempo going and punished Pakistan bowlers with some glorious shots.

Pakistan’s premium pacer Shaheen Afridi was at the receiving end of Rohit and Virat’s masterclass as they punished the young bowler with their signature shots. While, Rohit took out his classic pull shot out of his shots bag, Virat Kohli then stunned the crowd with an equisite cover drive.

However, Kohli couldn’t continue much with his knock as he departed on 16 off 18 balls. Currently, Rohit Sharma and Shreyas Iyer at the crease, taking India close to the target. Earlier, Indian bowlers combined effort hepled the side bundle out Pakistan for 191. For Pakistan, Babar Azam scored 50 while Mohammad Rizwan scored 49. For India, Hardik Pandya, Kuldeep Yadav, Jasprit Bumrah, Ravindra Jadeja and Mohammed Siraj scalped two wickets each.
