Some of the Toughest Wins Of Conor McGregor

1) Conor vs Mendes: For the first time ever, McGregor was the UFC champion after this match. Chad Mendes entered the fight when his initial opponent was forced to withdraw in an effort to halt the excitement and remove any chance of McGregor winning the UFC championship. In round two, it was all McGregor, and the first strap (interim) was fastened around McGregor’s waist. He almost pulled it off when he knocked McGregor to the ground, but it wasn’t to be.

Both combatants’ grit was evident during the encounter. The two combatants were battered by the hard shots coming from both sides. Conor McGregor’s body shots eventually had an impact, despite Mendes’ success. The Irishman’s trademark left hand found a spot and disarmed Mendes as the guard began to fall.

2) Conor vs Diaz 2: Due to the ongoing controversy surrounding this match, it still doesn’t pop up in any random list, but Conor himself has admitted to Diaz being one of his tough opponents in his fighting career.

Some people think McGregor lost the fight, but not me. However, this contest was a turning point in McGregor’s career. He demonstrated his capacity to exact revenge. After losing to Nate Diaz in his first UFC fight, he was able to win this one by majority decision.

3) Conor vs Holloway: After Conor McGregor and Max Holloway’s 2013 UFC Fight Night 26 encounter, fans have been anticipating this match for years. In order to establish his superiority as a fighter, Holloway, who was only 21 at the time, has long desired that rematch.

 Although their careers diverged, McGregor consistently sounded eager for a rematch. Before switching to lightweight, welterweight, and eventually professional boxing, McGregor went on to win the UFC featherweight championship. In contrast, Holloway won 13 straight fights after his defeat to “Notorious” to establish his place among the greatest featherweight competitors in history.
