Inter Miami star Lionel Messi and his wife Antonella Roccuzzo paid $10.8 million for a waterfront property in Fort Lauderdale, Florida. The Argentine footballer bought the property in an off-the-market transaction.
Situated on just 10,500-square-foot of land, the ultra-luxurious home features two boat docks. It also contains a swimming pool, a gym and a primary bedroom measuring 1,600 square feet. The property was built in 1988 & has a 170-foot waterfront.
The property boasts of 8 bedrooms, 9.5 bathrooms, a three-car garage and a pool.
Lori Morris designed the home which featured on Florida Design magazine. Samuel and Donna Simpkin represented Messi at Compass Florida in the purchase of the property.
The home opens to a 27-foot domed ceiling and includes a chef’s kitchen, home gym & spa, entertaining lounge. The property also contains a home office.

Drive Pink Stadium is about five miles from Messi’s home, and Inter Miami’s nearby training facility in Fort Lauderdale.
The team is expected to relocate to Miami in the near future, where its owners are planning Miami Freedom Park. The park, an expansive mixed-use project that includes a soccer stadium on city-owned property near Miami International Airport.
Miami tycoons Jorge and Jorge Mas, along with David Beckham and others own the Miami-based club.
Lionel Messi has been off to a perfect start to his MLS career. the Argentinian has scored 11 goals and provided eight assists for Inter Miami. He has had an unbeaten stint since joining the side.
Messi-less Inter Miami came from behind to win 3-2 against Sporting KC in their last match. The win kept Miami’s play-off hopes alive. More importantly, the team achieved the victory without their talismanic striker Lionel Messi.
