MS Dhoni might not be playing international cricket, but still, his one video is enough to set the internet on the fire. While one expects India to hog the limelight by storming into the World Cup final, it is Dhoni who is capturing the limelight. The CSK skipper is currently enjoying time at his hometown in Uttarakhand with wife Sakshi Dhoni in a village named Lwali.

Recognizing MS Dhoni, the villagers quickly jumped on the opportunity and clicked a picture with the legendary cricketer.

As always, the CSK wicketkeeper batter obliged the villagers’ request for clicking for a picture. Dhoni’s adorable gesture quickly went viral, and his fans yet again, were floored by simplicity and humbleness.

MS Dhoni, time again has vouched in several interviews about his passion for traveling the world. But first, the 41-year-old wants to explore India and then travel to other places. Also, CSK batter time and again visits his hometown, as that gives him immense peace and satisfaction.

With Dhoni not playing any cricket till IPL 2024 season, he visited Lwali village, near Almora, and completely unwinded himself.

Sharing the post on Instagram, Sakshi Dhoni wrote: “Eventful day amongst all the Dhonis ! Trust me there are many here!”

MS Dhoni Uttarakhand Connection

Many people don’t know this but MS Dhoni ancestral home is in Uttarakhand.

The village of Lwali, where Dhoni’s father Pan Singh departed in the 1970s to work in a steel mill in Ranchi, is still undeveloped and is home to his family. The community, which is around 75 kilometers from the Almora district headquarters, has experienced migration due to a lack of infrastructure.
