Virat Kohli continued to rotate the strikes with fellow batter KL Rahul and went on to slam yet another fifty in the World Cup. He took 63 balls to score his 54-run knock. A well and sensible knock saw the for India team skipper slam 4 boundaries in the process. Kohli looked in deft touch as he played no risky shots and continued to rotate the strike.

Prior to Rohit Sharma’s dismissal, Kohli hammered shots in full throttle. He showcased his brilliance by hitting Australia’s most fearsome bowler Mitchell Starc with 3 consecutive boundaries to set the pace of the game.

But after the quick wickets of Rohit Sharma and Shreyas Iyer, Kohli took a much more mature approach in the game. The duo of Kohli KL didn’t risk hitting a single boundary for 97 balls and racked up a fifty-run partnership by only rotating strikes.
