Dillon Danis has developed a reputation as a troll in the world of combat sports, and he cemented that reputation last year when he withdrew from a boxing match with KSI earlier this year after pledging to put their animosity to rest. However, things are different, as Danis will soon enter the ring when he challenges YouTuber and rival Logan Paul on October 14 in Manchester.
Despite admitting he doesn’t have a head trainer, Danis has been working hard in a training camp with UFC champion Conor McGregor and his crew to put his feud with Paul to rest once and for all. Many have frequently questioned whether he will show up to the fight at all next weekend. Still, Danis has reassured supporters that there is a valid explanation for his decision to forgo competing against KSI.

Why Dillon Danis Dump KSI
Danis has been preparing for his fight with Paul, where he will don a pair of boxing gloves for the first time and diverge from his experience in mixed martial arts. The American star has routinely competed in cage matches for the Bellator organisation, but he has never competed in a ring match. His competitor Paul has much more experience having fought in Floyd Mayweather’s ring.
As a result of months of online teasing sparked by the American’s prior association with Jake Paul, Danis and KSI finally decided to square off in January of this year. During a prior press conference, where the two were embroiled in a fight and ‘The Nightmare’ was hit by a coffee during a tense struggle, the two initially came into contact.
This increased interest in the Danis event, but supporters were unsure if it would take place, and they were ultimately proven to be wrong. KSI was left fuming and forced to locate a replacement opponent in the form of FaZe Temperrr, who he knocked out in a flash, despite formal confirmations being issued by Misfits Boxing.
Given that no formal explanation was first provided and that KSI only promised to never offer the fighter another opportunity, many people have long been curious as to why exactly Danis withdrew from the competition. With supporters anticipating the same thing against a fresh opponent, a bout under the Misfits Boxing champion’s name has been scheduled.
Then it became clear that Danis wasn’t really ready for his boxing debut and had weight problems that would limit his ability to compete. However, Danis has now tried to contradict this, offering a different account from his point of view that includes the identification of other targets.
