Former two-division UFC champion McGregor was in the city in the UK for his aunt’s funeral who passed away in June. For the occasion, the Irishman published a number of pictures with his family.
However, a video shared on social media by the Around Liverpool account appears to show the mixed martial arts champion hurriedly exiting The Saddle Club free house in Birkenhead. McGregor can be seen leaving the venue as supporters clamour for photo ops.

There are numerous rumours and theories floating around regarding the incident, but this is what we do know: McGregor travelled to Liverpool with his family to attend his aunt Pamela’s funeral. Tuesday night, he found himself at ‘The Saddle in Wirral’, a pub, where a violent altercation started. There is a video of a significant altercation occurring inside the bar, although it’s not obvious who is actually involved
As per the reports, what is known is Conor McGregor was being a show off inside the pub, which happened to piss one of the men off, who decided to have a word with the former UFC champion. Another report suggests that someone inside the pub was mocking Conor about his lost fight with Khabib Nurmagomedov before Conor landed a punch on him.

Police reached the site on time and a statement has been issued about the incident.
Officers visited the bar and spoke with several patrons. Additional investigations are being done to determine what happened, although nobody has been detained or filed any complaints as of yet.
This is one of the numerous times, that Conor has invited trouble for himself, instead of fighting inside the octagon, the fighter has been picking up fights in random places with random people, which has led to disappointment amongst MMA fans.
