Which are the best 2023 Knockouts in the UFC so far?

1. Israel Adesanya KOs Alex Pereira (UFC 287)

Israel Adesanya faced Alex Pereira in the main event of UFC 287 in a rematch for the UFC Middleweight Title. This match lasted for 2 rounds after Israel defeated Alex in the 2nd round with a right-hand KO. During the second round, The Stylebender picked the momentum abd landed hard strikes on the champion.

Eventually, Alex Periera couldn’t handle the powerful punches from his opponent. At the 4:21 mark of the second round, Israel Adesanya landed a right hand knocking out the Periera cold. This was one of the biggest comeback fights of 2023.

2. Brandon Moreno vs Deiveson Figueiredo (UFC 283)

Brandon Moreno vs Deiveson Figueiredo took place at the co-main event at UFC 283. Brandon Moreno faced Deiveson Figueiredo for the fourth time in his career. Both men faced each other in consecutive bouts for the UFC bantamweight title. The bout lasted for only 3 rounds after Moreno landed a brutal punch on his opponent.

This led to serious swelling in Deiveson’s eye leading to TKO (doctor’s stoppage) win for Brandon Moreno. The Assassin Baby won his fourth bout against Deiveson Figueiredo.

3. Sergei Pavlovich vs Curtis Blaydes (UFC Fight Night 222) 

Sergei Pavlovich vs Curtis Blaydes took place at UFC Vegas 71. Both men headlined UFC Fight Night 222 in the heavyweight division bout. Former UFC title challenger Curtis Blayedes tried to close this match by attempting a win. Unfortunately, Blaydes fell short against the Russian Red Machine.

The match ended in the first round after Curtis Blaydes failed to take the punches from Sergei Pavlovich. At the 3:08 mark of the first round, Sergei Pavlovich defeated Curtis Blaydes via KO ending his 5-match win streak. This match was a shocker for many as they saw Blaydes getting out cold in the very first round.

4. Rob Font vs Adrian Yaniz (UFC 287)

Rob Font vs Adrian Yaniz took place at UFC 287. The bantamweight bout was predicted to be a high-stakes match that lived up to its expectation. This bout ended in the first round with a TKO after Rob Font landed a brutal punch on Adrian Yaniz followed by hammer fists.

At 2:57 of Round 1, Ron Font knocked out Adrian Yaniz. Despite getting initial damage, Font pushed his limits to get a shocking win over Yaniz.

5. Edson Barboza vs Billy Quarantillo  (UFC on ESPN 44)

Edson Barboza vs Billy Quarantillo took place in the co-main event at UFC on ESPN 44. The returning featherweight contender Edson Barboza made his UFC return with a buzz knocking out Billy Quarantillo. The bout ended in a KO after Edson Barboza one of the brutal and creative strikers landed a knee to Quarantillo.

At the 2:37 mark of the first round, Edson Barboza landed a brutal knee when Billy Quarantillo tried to duck for a takedown. This was Edson’s first win since May 2021.
