Australian captain Pat Cummins has been under heavy scrutiny for his form as a bowler and captain of his side. Despite losing their first two matches, skipper Cummins decided to shift his focus from lifting the ODI World Cup 2023 title to helping kids teach cricket.
After losing to India and South Africa, the Aussies moved to Lucknow to play their third clash against Sri Lanka. Instead of keeping his focus on getting back into the mix of things, the pacer bowler decided to spend his precious time with school kids, teaching them to play their favourite sport.
The 30-year-old who is a UNICEF ambassador, said, “Speaking to kids here about cricket, we get so caught up, you think if you lose, it’s the end of the world. They don’t even know the result, they just love cricket.
