Virat Kohli: Virat Kohli continues to be the number one brand off the field as his net worth goes past 1000 Crores. Taking into account the RCB Superstar’s earnings from cricket, personnel assets, Instagram posts and endorsements, his net worth is currently a staggering 1050 Crore, making him one of the richest athletes in the World.

Recently, Kohli also hit 250 million followers on Instagram, making him Asia’s most popular face on the social media App. Now with another milestone, Kohli has yet again left behind some of the notable names in spots and Bollywood Industry.

According to StockGro, a Bengaluru-based trading investing firm, Kohli is one of the ‘world’s richest earning athletes’. The company calculated the former India captain’s income from cricket, brand endorsements, personal assets, social media revenues, and other business ventures, citing Forbes, DNA, MPL, and Startuptalky as their main sources.

The Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI) has put Kohli in an A+ contract. This is the highest slab worth seven crores. The 35-year-old earns 15 lakh Test per Test appearance, six lakhs each in ODI, and 3 lahks each in every T20 match. In Indian Premier League (IPL) Kohli plays Royal Challengers Bangalore (RCB), which sees him earn 15 crore per year.

Apart from earning a substantial amount in cricket, the RCB superstar also co-owns the Indian Super League Club FC Goa, a Tennis team, and a pro-wrestling team. Speaking about brands, Kohli owns several restaurant chains and has also invested in multiple start-ups such as Blue Tribe, Universal SportsBiz, MPL, and Sports Convo. For Advertisements, the former India captain charges around 7.5 crores to 10 crores (the most for any celebrity in Bollywood and sports fraternity).

For Instagram posts, Kohli charges 8.9 crores, and for Twitter, the right-hand batter charges 2.5 crores per post. As for Kohli’s personal assets, he owns a lavish house worth 34 crores in Mumbai and another sprawling apartment in Gurgaon worth 80 Crore. The 35-year-old also has an enviable collection of bikes and cars.
