Asia Cup 2023: IND vs PAK

Starting off the reserve day with a bang after rain initially delayed the start of play, KL Rahul got off too a quick start. Virat Kohli soon joined the party as the two Indian batsmen took all Pakistan bowlers to the cleaners. Barring Naseem Shah, all the bowlers were targeted by the duo of Kohli and Rahul, allowing India to set a mammoth target for Pakistan.

Earlier on Sunday, Rohit Sharma and Ishan Kishan put up an opening stand of well over 100 runs. Having been asked to bat first, the Indian skipper and the wicketkeeper-batsman went on the attack mode right from the first over, setting a tone to this high-voltage IND vs PAK clash. Both openers registered their half-centuries before departing to the pavilion.
