Virat Kohli on verge of history, will join MS Dhoni-Tendulkar in elite list

Coming to the series, India showcased their dominance in the first Test against West Indies, crushing them by an innings and 141 runs. The victory was propelled by Ravichandran Ashwin’s exceptional performance, claiming 12 wickets, and the young talent of Yashasvi Jaiswal, who scored an impressive 171 runs.

This triumph in the opening Test has proven to be crucial for India, as it has earned them valuable points in the new World Test Championship cycle. Captain Rohit Sharma exhibited his faith in the spin bowling skills of Ashwin and Ravindra Jadeja, who led the Indian bowling attack on a spin-friendly pitch.
