The ODI World Cup 2023 will be Kohli’s fourth consecutive ODI World Cup after the batter first participated in the event in 2011.

How many ODI World Cups has Ashwin played?
Ravichandran Ashwin has played the most ODI World Cups after Virat Kohli (2). Along with Kohli, Ashwin is also one of two active Indian players to win the ODI World Cup (2011).
After winning the event in 2011, Ashwin entered the semifinals in the 2015 edition. However, the spinner was dropped in the 2019 edition.
Now that Axar Patel has been ruled out with an injury, Ashwin finds himself back in the World Cup after eight long years.
