In the latest report by Wall Street Journal report, WWE’s internal investigation found Vince McMahon made big transactions to former US President Donald Trump’s Charity. The sum totals around $5 million between the years 2007 and 2009 when Donald Trump appeared on WWE for WrestleMania 23 and a RAW episode.
As per the reports, Vince McMahon paid $4 million to Donald Trump for his WrestleMania 23 where both men competed in a battle of billionaires match representing each superstar. Unfortunately, Vince McMahon lost and got his head shaved. According to a report, the contract featuring Donald Trump mentioned it no case Mr. McMahon would shave Trump’s hair even if Trump lost.
In 2009, Donald Trump made another on-screen appearance on an episode of RAW where Vince McMahon and his wife Linda McMahon paid $1 million to Trump’s Charity, with an appearance fee of $100,000. It is noted that Trump used to receive his appearance fees to his Charity before its dissolution.

Recently, WWE released its Q2 earnings for the year 2022, where WWE released a statement regarding WWE not being familiar to Vince McMahon’s transactions. The statement mentioned WWE was unaware due to improper management and risk assessment.
We did not maintain effective risk assessment based on the criteria established in the COSO framework which resulted in deficiencies in principles associated with risk assessment. Specifically, these control deficiencies constitute material weaknesses, either individually or in the aggregate, relating to: identifying and analyzing risks to the achievement of objectives across the entity.” – WWE’s quarterly report to the SEC.

Until now, WWE has unfolded a total of $20 million Vince McMahon’s money hush with several settlements to ex-WWE female employees for sexual misconduct. Last month, Vince McMahon retired from his position after a 4-decade tenure building a huge empire.
