Tate is famous for his brutal honesty and sometimes controversial comments. As a result, Tate constantly battles accusations of being misogynistic. However, this comment from Tate is about a much more controversial topic.
Video: When Andrew Tate Glorified British Colonization on India
In one clip that has now resurfaced, Tate answered some questions from his viewers in the presence of fellow controversial streamer Sneako. When quizzed about Britain’s colonization of India in the 19th century, Tate said,
“Now I’m not saying the British didn’t kill people. I’m not saying they were completely fair. But also, the world was a different place back then. No world was fair. If the British didn’t turn up to India in the 1800s, then the Indians would be killing the Indians.”
Tate then questioned whether India would be a better place if the British didn’t colonize them. This comment definitely raised some eyebrows. However, like everything else Tate says, there is food for thought with this statement.
Andrew Arrest update
With these comments, Tate showed he believes some good came out of the British colonization. However, not everyone will see it that way. Regardless of the backlash, Tate never compromised on giving his opinion. However, it may be a while before he can make such comments again.
‘Top G’, is currently in prison in Romania under allegations of human trafficking, sexual assault, and rape. And what was initially a 30-day arrested is now longer. Last week, the Romanian court extended the arrest up to February 27. Therefore, for at least another month, Tate has to remain in jail.
So whether you agree with his comments or not, fans might have to wait a while before Tate says something new. One thing is for sure, if Tate gets out, he will not stop doing the things that made him famous.
