“2025 promises to be a truly incredible year,” said Leo Faria, Global Head of VALORANT Esports. “We’ll have a longer season, more teams in our leagues, a new format, new skins, events in new locations around the world, and of course, the celebration of VALORANT’s 5-year anniversary.”

Brand New Locations for VALORANT Champions Tour (VCT) Global events

In 2025, the VCT is taking our global events to three exciting new locations. The season kicks off in February with the first Masters set to take place in Southeast Asia’s vibrant city of Bangkok. In June, competition will head across the Pacific to North America for Masters Toronto. Finally, the season will close out in the iconic city of lights with Champions Paris. Looking further to 2026 the VCT will bring Champions to China, and in 2027 back to the Americas!

Expanded Calendar

The VCT season will now run from January to October, better aligning the game and the sport, shortening the offseason, and giving teams more time to rest and prepare between competitions. Competition will begin with each of the 4 International Leagues hosting a Kickoff Tournament that will qualify 2 teams for the first global event of the year, Masters Bangkok. Following this tournament, each League will operate 2 stages of competition, qualifying teams for Masters Toronto and Champions Paris.
