Hyper Front, a free-to-play 5v5 Hero-based FPS game for mobile devices, has been launched in a few countries. Following its release, the game was likened to Valorant, a tactical first-person shooter from Riot Games, due to strong graphic and gameplay similarities. Hyper Front was originally dubbed “Project M” by NetEase Games, a nod to Valorant’s “Project A” codename. NetEase began beta testing for Project M in August 2021, and the game quickly gained a following thanks to its resemblance to Riot’s tactical shooter.
