Valorant Esports 2021 a Brief Overview- It’s been a fantastic year for VALORANT, and the esport has seen a lot of great moments. VALORANT, which was officially introduced in June 2020, had its first full year of esports. The First Strike competitions in 2020 were a taste of what was to come, but the VCT 2021 tournaments increased competitiveness and provided spectators with a worldwide perspective on the esport. In this article we will talk about the VALORANT Esports 2022, expectations, and more.

The structure of the VCT 2022 season will differ per location. So far, we’ve just heard that the EMEA region will be divided into various leagues. The VCT 2022 introduces the amateur Valorant Regional Circuit (VRC), Valorant Game Changers, and Valorant Regional League (VRL). Before qualifying for the Valorant Challengers leagues, the three new leagues will provide a sustainable bubble for regional hopefuls to compete against opponents of their level. Traditionally, groups of thirty-two teams compete in open qualifiers to obtain a spot in the Challengers league’s top eight. The Challengers Finals competition follows, with teams earning VCT Circuit points for their participation. In the meantime, the top two finishers qualify for the Masters’ Tournament. And Similarly, like Masters top teams will advance to Valorant Champions 2022 which is scheduled to happen in September next year.

The Valorant Champions Tour will be substantially shorter next year than it was this year, but Riot is considering adding more competitions to make up for the lost time. To begin, they said that they will sponsor and support new regional leagues, similar to the Ignition series from last year.

Riot Games will work with third-party tournament organizers during the ‘offseason,’ from October to December, to stage extra competition ahead of the next VCT season. These tournaments will not overlap in order to give each one greater focus and “community eyes.” Riot’s Game Changers project will also be active throughout this time frame.

Esports will also be incorporated more deeply into the main VALORANT game client. Weekly matches will be available to the client, and VALORANT developers guarantee that fans will be able to support their favorite teams in new ways. A Clash-like system was presented in a similar fashion, providing gamers with the opportunity to compete beyond ranked and a path to the pros.

Expanding current VCT Domain by Participation of new Region e.g. South Asia and VCC

The Valorant Conquerors Championship will return to Riot Games’ Valorant Champions Tour 2022 competition circuit in order to provide global representation for South Asian teams. Teams from all over South Asia competed in VCC 2021 for a single berth in the APAC Last Chance Qualifiers before Valorant Champions 2021. Unlike the previous iteration, Riot Games intends to award a ticket to the APAC Challengers Playoffs at VCT 2022 to the top two teams from VCC 2022. This is a step by Riot Games to reach out to unexplored regions and countries for active participation in the upcoming Valorant 2022 esports season.

Riot to Promote Women’s Participation in Valorant Esports 2022 on a Larger level

Riot games are also ensuring women’s participation on a larger scale from next year. Valorant Game changers are officially announced next year. If we want to encourage more women to pursue their esports goals, we must take immediate steps to make these games more accessible and level the playing field for them in the future. We want VCT Game Changers to be that stepping stone for women from all around the world to show off their Valorant skills and compete in a fair, safe, and eco-friendly atmosphere.
