After a series of data mining leaks and teasers, Riot Games has introduced Valorant’s new agent, Neon. According to the data miners, Neon was originally codenamed “Sprinter.” Amazon Prime mistakenly revealed the Valorant’s Episode 4 Act 1 key art with Neon on December 31, 2021. It was then taken down, and Riot Games formally unveiled the new Valorant agent to the public. Neon is the 19th agent joining the Valorant Protocol after the Frenchman, Chamber who arrived in Episode 3 Act 3. She was given the codename “Sprinter” during the opening ceremony of the VCT Champions Finals. In the short film, a silhouette made up of strings of numbers and letters was presented while a woman’s voice, presumed to be Neon’s, echoed in the background. We’re still waiting to see if Neon will take up the job of Duelist, Controller, or Sentinel. Riot also teased that they would follow up with a brand new release in a week, presumably revealing more information about their new agent’s past and details. In terms of the agent’s heritage, Neon is Filipino, as evidenced by her voice lines teased at Champions 2021.
Neon Abilities: Valorant Agent 19 Neon
Neon AbilitiesAccording to rumors, Agent 19 will be known as “Neon” in the game. We don’t know much about her talents yet, but we can expect her to be able to move quickly, as she is referred to as the agent who is “faster than Jett.” According to the leaked image, Neon would leave some neon smoke or fading light once she uses her special movement ability. She might also possess Lightning striking capabilities. It is highly speculated that a New Duelist addition is Valorant Protocol.

When will Neon Launch in Valorant?
The new agent will be introduced in Valorant Episode 4 Act 1, which is set to release on January 12, 2022. This means that Valorant’s Episode 3 Act 3 will end on January 11, 2022, in order to make room for the new additions to the shooting game.
