Sunrisers Hyderabad (SRH) will find it challenging to retain only four players ahead of the Indian Premier League (IPL) 2025 auction, as they had one of the finest teams in the IPL 2024 season. SRH may have to let go of some of their well-performing players if the retention limit does not increase in the IPL mega auction. Nitish Kumar Reddy
Nitish Kumar Reddy is an all-rounder who could fetch a valuable amount in the upcoming auction. In the last IPL season, he scored 303 runs in 13 matches and also took 3 wickets. Nitish could be a great addition to any franchise as he is a pace-bowling all-rounder.
Aiden Markram
Aiden Markram is not likely to be retained by the SRH franchise. The former captain was replaced by Pat Cummins in IPL 2024, as the Australian all-rounder had a great stint in 2023. Markram played 11 matches and scored 220 runs, but did not take a single wicket. Still, Markram is a valuable player who can contribute with both bat and ball to any team.
