After the R&B artist saw his tweet, McGregor quickly removed his rendition of “Locked Up,” which peaked at number five in the UK when it was released over 20 years ago.
The next day, “Notorious” shared on his Instagram story that he was in trouble after his late-night karaoke session.
McGregor posted a screenshot demonstrating that he was prevented from accessing his X account following the filing of a copyright claim by Akon or a member of his crew.
McGregor will need to study the copyright rules of the social media network in order to regain access to his account.
The Irishman wrote, “Akon not happy,” in his story. McGregor shared an unexpected audio message on X a few hours ago. He was doing a version of “Locked Up” in the voice note. The R&B singer Akon is the one who wrote the song. Though Akon hasn’t spoken to his fans yet, they’re interested to know!
By now, it was evident that McGregor was freestyling because of the lengthier gaps between his bars, which had no connection to his earlier remarks.
