UFC 281: Pereira becomes the undisputed UFC middleweight champion

Fans were lucky to see some brutal KOs, submissions, and unanimous victories on the UFC 281 fight card last night, packed with high-profile appearances. Pereira registered a win against Adesanya as he landed combinations on ‘Izzy,’ to which the former champion fell numb and surrendered.

Pereira (7-1) became the UFC middleweight champion in his fourth UFC fight. Meanwhile, Adesanya (23-2) has managed five title defenses as a middleweight champion and has held the undisputed crown since October 2019. His glorious reign has now come to an end, but he can bounce back at any point.
