Adesanya shared a video of his training session where he was seen attempting to choke his opponent. In the video, he stated that striking can get boring at times and he’s been focusing on developing his submissions skills.

Israel Adesanya is now preparing for his next opponent, who will be the winner of the upcoming fight between Robert Whittaker and Dricus Du Plessis at UFC 290.

Adesanya has already faced Whittaker once in UFC 271, Adesanya won the fight via decision.
