Recently, the League has begun introducing each of its athletes that will compete in this truly different league. While this was going on, one of its athletes, Jewel Scott, caught the attention of fans who were shocked to witness him slapping and knocking the guy with his slap. As stated on the website, “‘Kidd Diamond’ Can put People Out in a Flash!’,” the Power Slap League’s page shared Scott’s introductory video on Twitter. In the tweet they released, they asserted Scott took inspiration from Mike Tyson for his hitting technique. You can check out the video below.

Boxing fans are well aware of the brutality of Tyson’s punches during his prime. His blows have allowed him to win many matches by knocking his opponent to the ground within the first minute of the bout. Likewise, Scott gave his opponent a strong slap in the video, which caused him to fall to the ground. Subsequently, fans began praising his power in the ways shown below.

For those who are unaware, Scott is a native of New Orleans who has experience as a kickboxer, boxer, and MMA fighter. Additionally, he developed a hurricane-style slap that completely destroyed everyone at the Power Slap qualifiers, including his first opponent.

There’s sand, there’s beans, there’s slapping things like tires and walls, padded walls, things like that to kinda toughen up your hands.”
It will be interesting to watch how he does in the league, but based on the video, he is unquestionably one of the favorites to win. After all, nobody is ever compared to Tyson easily.
