UFC’s lowest moment reveals by Pay-Per-view icon: Logan Paul was in awe after Buffer described the UFC’s lowest point

When pressed about it during a recent Logan Paul podcast, he said that it had happened long before Dana White and the Fertitta Brothers acquired the UFC.

He pointed out that the business suffered a severe setback when the stadium went from being sold out to having only 1500 spectators inside, and they were only kept afloat by Direct TV and the internet. Speaking of the same, he also described an instance that marked the UFC’s lowest moment, which left Paul in awe.

He stated, “I remember doing an event in Louisiana and there was only 1500 people in the audience and Kevin Randleman was the main event. If you remember Kevin Randleman who died a number of years ago, Great Wrestler. And he was coming out and he slipped on a pole in the back and fell and knocked himself out. So we couldn’t have a main event.”

He added, ”So I was ready to go and then they go ‘Buff you got to tell them there is no main event. Why? Kevin Randleman is knocked out he can’t come out, tell them.’ I told them it’s like bottle and can flying time. I realized we’re at the lowest point ever.”

Moreover, he claims that following this, one day, he received a call informing him that the UFC had been sold to the White and Fertitta brothers, but they wanted Buffer to remain a part of the business. And as they say, the rest is history; after that moment, we witnessed the promotion expanding at a meteoric rate.
