Conor McGregor ranking: UFC ranks: The UFC’s Lightweight division is undoubtedly one of the most competitive in the entire organization. The 155-pound division of the UFC has produced several of the most well-known fighters in MMA history, including Conor McGregor, Dustin Poirier, Khabib Nurmagomedov, BJ Penn, and Frankie Edgar. The Notorious’ became the first double champion of the promotion when he knocked out Eddie Alvarez for the featherweight belt. Conor McGregor is out of UFC lightweight rankings

Many admirers of “Notorious” Conor McGregor all across the world are curious about when he might have another chance to compete for the 155-pound gold. Given that McGregor is unranked in the organization’s Lightweight category and that his most recent fight ended in a defeat to Dustin Poirier, it is unlikely that this will happen anytime soon.

Many lightweight competitors entered the ring at UFC 281 to advance in the division and contend for the title. Dan Hooker was able to move up among these competitors, moving from No. 12 to No. 11. As a result, everyone below him was demoted by one rank.

He has been healing and gaining weight ever since, awaiting his comeback to the octagon. He has assured his followers that he will return soon. Since losing his lightweight championship to Khabib Nurmagomedov in 2018, he has competed three times, defeating Donald Cerrone by TKO in 2020 and Poirier by KO/TKO in his two subsequent fights in 2021.

Makhachev, a protégé of one of the greatest UFC fighters ever, Khabib Nurmagomedov, put on a solid performance to defeat Charles Oliveira and win the gold medal.

UFC President Dana White stated that the bout between the two competitors would be a “fun fight” inside the Octagon. Additionally genuine is the assertion that Conor McGregor (22-6 MMA) will face Michael Chandler (23-8 MMA) in his much-awaited return to the Octagon.
