If you’re a newbie MMA fan, you might not be aware that before every bout, every fighter must check their weight. They are only permitted to compete if they meet the criteria for the weight categories they are fighting in. And many fighters miss their weight, which leads to match cancellations.
Unfortunately, Maheshate, only one fighter, tripped up this time as he weighed 2.5 pounds above the limit for the lightweight match against Rafa Garcia at 158.5 pounds. You can check the full video of the weight-in below.
