UFC: Tristan Tate debunks Caitlin Clark’s potential and draws a parallel with Ronda Rousey

The former UFC Women’s Bantamweight Champion was once seen as a force to be reckoned with, dominating her division with ease. So much so, that UFC President Dana White even predicted that she could knock out legendary boxer Floyd Mayweather in a potential boxing match.

Fast forward to today, and the debate of women competing against men has resurfaced, this time in the world of basketball. Many have backed female NBA star Caitlin Clark to compete against male athletes in the NBA. After this, Jake Shields and Tristan Tate took to Twitter to reference Rousey’s past and highlight, Rousey’s dominance was short-lived. As she suffered back-to-back losses against Holly Holm and Amanda Nunes. After her UFC career came to an end, Rousey transitioned to WWE where she continues to perform. Check out the tweet below.

Tristan Tate has used Dana White’s earlier statement to criticize the idea of Caitlin Clark competing against men in the NBA. Despite this, there is no denying that Ronda Rousey was a superstar who inspired many women to pursue MMA. Similarly, Clark is on the path to becoming a legendary athlete, and only time will tell if she has the potential to compete at a high level against men in the NBA, as Tristan Tate is doubting.
