UFC PPV: UFC news: UFC 283 will be the first Pay-Per-view of 2023 headlined by Glover Teixeira and Jamahal Hill for the vacant light heavyweight belt in Rio de Janeiro, Brazil. With a successful 2022 year for the promotion, UFC events will see a steep increase in its PPV price on ESPN +, starting from UFC 283. Follow UFC updates with insidesport.IN.

According to reports, ESPN+ will now charge $79.99 for UFC 283, which was previously priced at $74.99. UFC and ESPN struck a deal together in 2019 and the PPV price was fixed at $59.99. After a year, the price was raised to $64.99 and then again to $69.99 in 2021.

With UFC 270 in 2022, the ESPN+ PPV price was raised to $74.099. Now UFC 283 will introduce a fresh raise to the PPV figure.

UFC fans, however, have trolled the promotion to increase its PPV prices. Middleweight fighter Paulo Costa has recently re-ignited the complaints regarding fighter’s pay and fight fans were quick to take note of it. Here’s how fans reacted to the decision.

Paulo Costa recently claimed that he was offered $70 k to show and $70 k to win against Robert Whittaker in a potential middleweight scrap. The Brazilian seems to have declined the offer and is possibly on the verge of exiting the promotion. Previously, Heavyweight champion Francis Ngannou has also demanded a bigger pay scale. However, Dana White is yet to increase the fighters’ minimum pay.

Meanwhile, UFC 283 looks stacked already. It will be the second UFC event of 2023 following a Fight Night occasion. Here’s how to watch UFC 283 live from home.
