UFC Noche: Alexa Grasso Unleashes Confidence: Vows to Dominate Valentina Shevchenko with the training

On September 16, 2023, at the T-Mobile Arena in Paradise, Nevada, Valentina Shevchenko will be determined to avenge her earlier loss this year. When they last met, the Mexican fighter held her ground for four rounds against one of the world’s top strikers and ultimately capitalized on the opportunity with a flawless submission. And although she looked not dominant in first few rounds in the first match this time as per Grasso she has trained a lot to dominant every single round.

She stated, “I’ve been training so much. I’ve been improving in so many areas, which is the most important thing.” When pressed about how confident she is after the first match she stated, “I know my capabilities. First round I was touching her with every single punch I was throwing.

She added, “She changed her strategy in the second and third rounds but in the fourth I was able to handle the situation and know what she gonna do. So I know what I’m capable of. I will be more prepared for the second fight for wherever the fight goes. I’ve trained better than the last one. And I did a lot of adjustments to be winning every single round now.

These two fighters boast remarkable skills and have firmly secured their positions as elite competitors in the women’s flyweight division. According to Oddsshark, in the highly anticipated rematch, Shevchenko remains the favorite with odds at -170, while Grasso is considered the underdog at +140, although the margin is narrower this time around.
