Prior to the event, news of Jon Jones vs. Ciryl Gane at UFC 286 circulated online kudos to a photo of T-Mobile Arena where fans could see the official poster for the Jones vs. Gane pay-per-view fight, as shown in the image below.
Later, the UFC President verified that Jon Jones and Ciryl Gane’s heavyweight fight, which is scheduled to take place in March in Las Vegas, Nevada. Leon Edwards vs Kamaru Usman 3 confirmed
UFC Head Hocho also made the announcement during the UFC Fight Night 217 post-fight press conference on Saturday, following the first event of the year. That Leon Edwards will attempt to make his maiden championship defense at home following his 2022 Knockout of the Year triumph over Usman at UFC 278 in August. And it will be up against the same man from whom he took the title.
