UFC News Round up: Conor McGregor vs AEW champion rivalry continues
Former UFC double champion Conor McGregor and current AEW World champion MJF have continued their feud on Twitter. After Friedman called Paddy Pimblett a ‘Dollar store Conor’, McGregor responded with a tweet of his own, saying, “A dollar store Conor is still worth millions! Let’s go Paddy Pimb! Don’t know who this other clown is.”
Maxwell Jacob Friedman didn’t take kindly to this tweet and replied with, “I’ll f*ck the Conor clone up.
Then I’ll wipe my a*s with the original.
Stay in your lane you roided up leprechaun.
You can’t hang with the @AEW World Champion. #Betterthanyou”
Clearly, MJF is not a fan of either McGregor or Pimblett. It will be interesting to see how McGregor responds.
I’ll fuck the Conor clone up.
Then I’ll wipe my ass with the original.
Stay in your lane you roided up leprechaun.
You can’t hang with the @AEW World Champion. #Betterthanyou https://t.co/X6CPxoKwFT

UFC News Round up: Joe Rogan labels late UFC star as ‘Greek God’
Joe Rogan has paid tribute to late UFC fighter and fan favorite Anthony ‘Rumble’ Johnson in the most unique way possible. The famous UFC commentator spoke to rising star ‘Suga’ Sean O’Malley on his podcast, ‘The Joe Rogan Experience’ had recalled an interaction with Johnson from back in the day.
Rogan said, “When he was a welterweight, dude, I saw him in between fights once, and I go, ‘Anthony, how big are you?’ And he goes, ‘230 pounds.’ Dude, he walked in looking like a Greek God. He was so gigantic.”
Thus, showing how much weight Johnson used to cut. And although he eventually moved up weight classes, these words from Rogan perfectly describe the dedication of Johnson in the UFC. Evidently, even Rogan and O’Malley were fans of the American.
UFC News Round up: Ali Abdelaziz reveals staying with Corey Anderson all night after a loss
Ali Abdelaziz is one of the most popular and controversial managers in the MMA world. While he often gets into trouble for his outbursts, all his fighters sing his praises for his work. And the manager of several UFC and Bellator fighters has now revealed another interesting story.
Speaking about the recent Bellator 228 event where his fighter Usman Nurmagomedov became lightweight champion, Abdelaziz said, “I didn’t even see Usman after the fight. I kinda stayed with Corey all night in the back and stuff. And it was really heartbreaking. Because if anybody deserved anything, it’s Corey Anderson.”
Therefore, this showed how hard Corey and Abdelaziz took the loss against Vadim Nemkov. However, it also showed the kind of manager Abdelaziz is with his fighters.
UFC News Round up: Belal Muhammad gives training update
UFC welterweight Belal Muhammad has explained his decision to train with Khabib Nurmagomedov and his team and revealed what is different about them. Muhammad is fresh off a win against Sean Brady at UFC 281, a fight which saw Khabib in his corner.
Speaking on an episode of ‘Weighing in’, Muhammad said it was a no-brainer when Khabib invited him to train. He explained how he didn’t feel the need to change camps, but he wanted to take his training to the next level.
Muhammad was also full of praise for the team and explained how everything is more intensive with Khabib and his team. He then said another reason he moved camps was that he wanted to train with the guy he considers the goat, i.e. Khabib and Islam Makhachev, who he thinks is the best fighter in the UFC.
Thus, it is clear that Muhammad feels training with Khabib is the right way forward. Do you think this move will help him win the welterweight title?
