It is being said that the former UFC title challenger has suffered an injury which forced him to withdraw from the fight. However, there hasn’t been any details revealed about the same just yet. Interestingly, this is not the first time Darren Till has opted out from his fight against Jack Hermansson. The two were supposed to fight back in December 2020 as well but Till withdrew from the fight back then too.
The news of Darren Till withdrawing from the fight was reported by MMA journalist Simo Head, who took to Twitter to reveal:
“Darren Till is out of #UFCLondon, per reports. In-form Chris Curtis has already agreed to step in to face Jack Hermansson. Curtis is on an eight-fight win streak, with #UFC wins over Phil Hawes, Brendan Allen and Rodolfo Vieira.”

Chris Curtis who is stepping in on short notice is having an impressive run of form inside the octagon. ‘The Action Man’ is riding an eight-fight win streak overall. He was most recently seen in action against Rodolfo Viera on June 26th where he earned a unanimous decision victory.
