UFC: Khabib Nurmagomedov pleads to meet Cain Velasquez in Jail, plans to show up in the next San Jose Hearing

Cain Velasquez’s court hearing: Cain Velasquez who has been in jail ever since his arrest on February 28 following the charges of attempt of murder was denied bail on March 7 and was once again brought in front of the jury on April 13th.

Velasquez is under 6 different charges which includes attempt to murder, shooting at a motor vehicle, assault with deadly weapon, carrying a loaded firearm with intent to commit felony and willfully discharging a firearm from a vehicle.

He has been found guilty under the charges of attempted murder. Cain Velasquez chased and fired multiple shots at the vehicle of Harry Goularte, who is accused of molesting a minor family member of Cain.

Khabib Nurmagomedov pleads to meet Cain Velasquez in Jail: Khabib Nurmagomedov and Cain Velasquez are teammates form American Kickboxing Academy also known as AKA and has trained together a lot.

He spoke in aid of his friend and said “I don’t understand these things. This is not fair. He sit in jail and other guy is outside. What about other guy? Put this guy in jail too. He’s more dangerous for people than Cain Velasquez.”

Khabib pleads to meet his long term friend cum teammate and visit him in jail to show his support and is planning to be there at the San Jose Court for his next legal hearing.

He during a recent interview said that “Yesterday I was talking to AKA Coach, I asked him if there’s any chance, if it’s possible to go see him in jail. Because in Russia we can go and see anybody. I asked because I don’t know the law here in the U.S.

“I ask him, ‘I really want to go to see him. After a couple of days I’m gonna be in San Jose.’ I want to go to see him, shake his hand, give him good energy. Anybody in the world who respects himself, who loves his family, is going to do the same thing, exactly.”
