UFC: Khabib Nurmagomedov bashes Conor McGregor for his latest tweets- “Drunk too much”: The bad blood between Khabib Nurmagomedov and Conor McGregor still seems far from meeting a conclusion. Although they no longer appear to be squaring off inside the UFC cage, both men continue to banter with each other on social media and several interviews.
That said, Conor McGregor’s dooming defeat against Dustin Poirier at UFC 264 opened up new doors to the Irishman’s rivalry with Nurmagomedov. Following the fight, Khabib Nurmagomedov took to Twitter and congratulated ‘Diamond’. Meanwhile, he tagged McGregor as ‘evil, while Dustin Poirier as ‘good’, to shed some more hatred on his former rival.
In response, Conor McGregor broke out a few moral codes and mocked Nurmagomedov’s late father, who passed away months back due to Covid-19 complications. The former double champ further deleted those tweets, but Khabib Nurmagomedov didn’t miss out to reach on the scenario during his interview at HotBoxin Podcast.
The lightweight G.O.A.T said, “You know only evil can talk about your father, like wife, kids, religions. Like if you are normal like, human you are never gonna talk about these stuff you know.”

Conor McGregor vs Khabib Nurmagomedov at UFC 229 is by far the most successful event in the promotions’ history. Russian star Khabib saw new heights of fame after the bout. He ultimately became a legend of the sport. However, Conor McGregor couldn’t see a similar fourth from then.

His lucrative business deals continued to increase the Irishman’s stellar networth. But unfortunately, the former champion couldn’t add much to his combat legacy. After losing to Khabib Nurmagomedov, McGregor has fought thrice. While he won a comeback fight against Donald Cerrone in 2020, Poirier clutched him back with two horrific defeats.

Meanwhile, Conor McGregor has constantly called him out for a second meeting. Despite suffering defeat, McGregor was the one to overpower Khabib Nurmagomedov in one round. The rematch could have displayed more competitiveness. But it doesn’t seem to be happening anymore, as Dustin Poirier is now heading towards fighting Charles Oliveira for the 155 lbs gold.
